Buzz is an integrated software designed to empower small businesses to amplify marketing for better returns by Providing localized data that enables them to direct their marketing activities to accelerate their return on investment on marketing.
PROBLEMS
Small businesses in Savannah, comprising 22% retail establishments, with 20 or fewer employees(“City of Savannah Economic Development Department,” n.d.), face a myriad of challenges in effectively reaching and engaging their target audience(Interview,2023). A lack of comprehensive advertising knowledge, coupled with budget constraints and limited access to affordable resources, hinders their ability to stand out in the competitive market (Taradel. August 17, 2023).

SOLUTION
An AI-driven platform designed to empower small business owners with struggle-free insights and actionable strategies for their marketing challenges. Leveraging the power of natural language processing and machine learning, the platform provides tailored guidance, step-by-step action plans, and relevant prompts to navigate the ever-evolving marketing landscape.
RESEARCH PLANNING
Savannah-based small business owners were interviewed in person to gain qualitative insights and understanding the challenges with marketing practices, as well as their expectations and values in this area.

DATA ANALYSIS
After I concluded my primary research, I clustered data points and quotes on a working wall. Different colors were utilized to cluster specific sticky notes from individual participants to keep the history of individual notes. All stickies from the digital survey, personal interviews, and observations were duplicated, reorganized, and color-neutralized on a separate frame for data affinitization. About 600 data points were affinitized and 6 key insights were obtained with 2 themes and 14 key sub-Insights.
